Regular shop hours:   Open Daily 10am to 5pm.  Closed on Thursday and Sunday.

And so the snow continues.  We've had a number of days where we just could
not get into the shop to open.  Where's that global warming when you need it!
We still have a few feet of snow piled up on the sides of the road here in
Lovingston but we're open
- you really can get into the store.

Since you all have had plenty of time to work on your projects while you were
watching the snow fall, please do bring in your "snowed in" projects for show and
tell.  We'd love to see them.

Karen has been working on an oriental themed top using the "Frame It" pattern
we have in the shop.
She also has a quilt called "Snail Takes A Detour" in the
works.  Take a look at both tops on the
design board page.

When you are in the shop, ask Karen to see the Boy Scout quilt she is working
on for me.  I'm really liking it!

We are the best source of fabric and notions for those who quilt and sew in and
around Nelson County.  We stock Mettler and King Tut threads, Omnigid Cutting
Mats and Rulers, Olfa Rotary Cutters, Schmetz Machine Needles, Quilting and
Sewing Books, magazines and over 1000 bolts of fabric by Moda, Hoffman,
Blank, Michael Miller, P&B Textiles, Marcus Brothers, Timeless Treasures and
more!

We also offer selected jewelry, handcrafted pens and mechanical pencils, quilt
racks, hand turned wooden thimbles and quilt hangers.  Visit the Pens & Other
Page to view samples of items we've made.  Special orders are always welcome.

If you haven't seen them yet, we have pictures of this years' Tour de Quilt on
our
TDQ 2009 page.

Happy Sewing!
